This September NHS St Helens CCG is supporting Organ Donation Week which runs from 2 – 8 September.

Together NHS Blood and Transplant and NHS St Helens CCG are urging people to talk to their families about organ donation to increase the number of lives that can be saved or transformed.

From spring 2020, organ donation in England will move to an 'opt out' system. This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups. Find out the facts, and share your decision with your family so they can ensure your choice is honoured.
