Practising and student health visitors are invited to attend an open evening at Suites Hotel in Knowsley (L34 9HA) on 1 May to find out more about a career with North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s 0-19 child health services in Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens.
The informal drop-in event is a chance for health visitors to chat to front-line staff and managers about working for the Trust, including staff perks and benefits, opportunities for career development and the organisational culture and values.
North West Boroughs Healthcare provides a range of community-based child health services to families across Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens. These include health visiting and school nursing services, the Family Nurse Partnership programme, breastfeeding support and immunisations.
The Trust is currently recruiting to a number of full and part-time health visiting posts across the three boroughs and managers are keen to speak to prospective candidates - both experienced health visitors and those due to qualify in September this year - who may be interested in working for the organisation.
Janet Morris, Head of Service for Children’s Community Care Services in Knowsley, said:
“I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking for new opportunity to work in a very innovative child health service to come along for a coffee and a chat about what it’s like to work as a health visitor within one of our fantastic 0-19 teams.
“As an organisation, we offer a range of staff benefits including flexible working and a dedicated occupational health and wellbeing service for staff, including free access to physiotherapy and counselling services.”
There is no need to book onto the event and those attending can drop by any time between 5pm and 8pm. Tea and coffee will be provided.
