The National Health Service is turning 70 on 5 July 2018. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.
Join us on Friday 6th July for our Annual General Meeting to hear about achievements and challenges for NHS St Helens CCG in 2017/18 and what we are planning for the future. The afternoon will include some music, poetry readings and afternoon tea.
Please let us know if you are coming and have any dietary requirements via firstname.lastname@example.org
The countdown to the NHS’s 70th birthday on the 5 July is on. To mark the occasion we have officially launched the NHS Big 7Tea. GP and TV presenter Dr Hilary Jones is the face of the campaign and recently he poured tea for NHS staff and Professor Jane Cummings, Chief Nursing Officer for England, in the gardens of St Thomas’ Hospital.
The NHS Big 7Tea is a partnership between more than 80 NHS charities with people across the country being asked to host a tea party on the big day and raise a cuppa to thank NHS staff. More than 800 people have already registered to host tea parties. We would like to encourage the whole nation to get involved, please register for your tea party pack.
